Ma Ashra is an untold story of the perseverance of everyday women in South Asia when they’re getting married. Not only that. It depicts post-marriage struggles and shows women are making choices to tackle those situations. They’re not holding back their thoughts and pressure of society into forcefully making the decisions they’re unsure about. This is where film meets realism.
